The Winter Risia Festival 2010

The Winter Festival is on all of February with a 20%+ xp and Winter Festival Coins. These new coins come in 3 colors, white blue and purple. Purple being the best. How do you get these coins? The easiest way to get these coins is via a ice jump placed up by the old Harbor masters house(Close to the Butchers Paths quest) in the harbor The ice jump leads to multiple other jumps and landings(very mario brothers like). When you turn in these coins you get a chance at a variety of little rewards and recipes. Recipes are used in crafting via a alter located by the lighthouse in the harbor.

You place the recipes on the alter with the correct item and "molts of winter"(a winter coin reward)and get some various levels of upgrades. The coins get turned in to Jack Frost located by the Lighthouse as well.

Coins get placed in your collectables bag and the "molts of winter" and recipes get placed in your ingredients bag.

The Necropolis

Module 5: Accursed Ascension

The new stuff looks cool. But its hard to one up the giant hold. The Quests seem either to easy or to hard the coolist one being the "Ghosts of Perpiction". Also intorduced in "the Orchard" the new slayer zone which contians some high level chests that are easy to loot. In the end its nice to have mutiple high level areas to hang out in this is a good addition im making ddo a bigger world.

Gianthold

The Giant Hold

This stuff is great with amazing loot and Xp. Some of the quests are actually quite fun. Its also introduced a new Raid and new collectables called relics, which can be used to buy unique items and are needed to do the new raid. 20 Dragon, Elf and Giant relics are needed to get into the pre-raid. The relics are random inside of chests in the Gianthold. Quests randomly drop certian types or relics.

[Dragon Relics & Scale Rewards ] [Slayer Zone ] Reaver Riad]

The Desert

The desert introducted the Demon Queen raid & the need to have a fear immunitiy item or a real high will save to deal with mummies the intoduction of Gnolls and Dijin.
Random loot chests appear in the desert you run though to get to the quests. These chests have tokens in them and unique items.
